Uphill
Back to working on the screenplay that opens with the long voiceover, not caring much for it . . . but at least I was able to crank out ten pages tonight.
Hey, Rick! I would like to be the first actor to take a "whack" at that opening voice over--not so much as an audition for the role, but to work-shop the piece. Plus, directors and producers have always said that I have the perfect look for voice-overs, and I'd like to test that theory out! Also, I like the title, “Uphill”, since Sisyphus was my favorite bedtime story when I was a kid. Ciao for now, Amigo!
Yes, I'll wear a suit--it's the only way to do it. A lot of people squabble about the METHOD and say actors need training and need to "become the character", and I can tell you it's all bunk. All you need is the right shoes... When you get the shoes, you get the character. That simple.

If you promise to wear a suit I'll let you have it.

Joe, I'm glad we see eye to eye on this.
